Flint spending pace is "drastically living beyond your means," auditor tells City Council--The Flint Journal

Mayor Don Williamson said the city's finances are not in good shape, but it's due to the overall poor economy.

"I don't think any city in America is on the right financial path," Williamson said. "We're going to have to make some extreme adjustments."

The mayor said his administration has done a "fantastic job" of making improvements to the city.
