The lawsuit filed last month in Genesee County Circuit Court claims that Bridges, who is black, encountered "hostile and demeaning" confrontations at the dealership based on race during his three years working there.
Bridges alleges he refused to participate in what the lawsuit calls a "fraudulent scheme" that involved using a former General Motors employee's identification to provide GM discounts for unqualified customers.
