Mayor Williamson said Dobrzeniecki should not shoulder any of the blame for the $8.3 million deficit that the city ended the 2007-08 year with.
"He had nothing to do with it. That was City Council's fault," Williamson said. "He is a super fantastic person and he was an award-winning finance director."
