The mayor said the project likely wouldn't generate any money. It would be open on Saturdays and Sundays from 12-6. But not everybody likes the idea.
"What about the liability?" asked Council President Carolyn Sims. "This has not gone through council. I think the citizens of this community deserve something better than a drag strip."
