Supporters of Flint Mayor Don Williamson's drag strip idea meet to mobilize backing; city councilman setting up opposing meeting--The Flint Journal

Councilman Sheldon Neeley has called for a community-wide meeting about whether the drag strip would be a good idea 6 p.m. Sept. 16 at the Flint Children's Museum.
Neeley said he believes there's far more people against the drag strip because of concerns about noise and safety.
"There's a large group of people saying this is not what we need in this community," Neeley said.
