Organizers were disappointed that Williamson, who typically has an open door policy on Wednesday mornings, could not meet with them. It was unknown why he wasn't in his office.

Instead, ACORN leaders left phone numbers at the mayor's office in order to make an appointment.

"We go in and he's not there," ACORN director and organizer Lisia Williams said to the crowd gathered in City Hall. "You all have issues and he doesn't have five minutes to come out and talk to us?"
