Thanks to the Williamson Watch reader that sent us this photo of a Williamson Campaign sign posted on a a vacant building. There are many such signs throughout Flint. Perhaps Mayor Williamson doesn’t realize that every sign he posts on a closed business also announces his failure to revitalize Flint’s economy.

Mayor Williamson may only take a one dollar a year salary, but his mismanagement has cost Flint’s taxpayers millions of dollars. Just look at the numbers. The City of Flint lost $1,400,000 in penalties for unspent Community Development Block Grants. Then there are the five lawsuits which Mayor Williamson lost –the ACLU/Flint Journal News carrier lawsuit ($150,000), the towing company lawsuit ($440,000), the sewer backup lawsuit ($10,800,000), the Water Department supervisor lawsuit ($100,000), and the recent Manhattan Place condos lawsuit ($2,835,000)—for a grand total of $15,725,000.
